Note 01

About Stacy

Long legs, near-black brown hair, and 176 cm of slim frame that makes most rooms look slightly smaller. Stacy has brown eyes and the sort of face that photographs far better than it has any business doing. Early twenties. In Chelsea she dresses simply because she has to: at her height anything elaborate becomes a statement, so it is well cut trousers, flat shoes more often than not, and a coat that does the work.

Her English is unhurried and she is less confident than her height suggests, which is one of the more likeable things about her. She warms up steadily across an evening rather than arriving fully switched on. She swims, draws reasonably well, and keeps a running list of the Chelsea cafes that will let her sit for two hours over one coffee without hovering.

An SW1 evening with her is usually Colbert on Sloane Square, the corner brasserie with the pavement tables and the tiled floor, open early and late and entirely without ceremony. She likes an outside table and an omelette at an hour when other people are having dinner. She lives a few streets from the square, so the walk afterwards goes down Pavilion Road or along to the river, whichever suits the weather and the hour.

Dates from 12 October onward are the ones to ask about, since she is out of London until then. The Chelsea page has SW3 and the rest of the women there. An evening and a hotel in a message to booking will get you her first free night back.

Note 03

An evening with Stacy

The first half hour with her is the quietest part of the evening and the last hour is the best, which is worth knowing before you book an hour and wonder what happened. She is not shy exactly, she just arrives at her own pace.

Sloane Square in the evening is busier than it looks from a taxi, and the corner brasserie keeps its pavement tables out well past the point that the weather justifies. She eats something small and odd, drinks very little, and talks more and more as the night goes on. Afterwards Pavilion Road is two minutes away and almost empty after eight, and the walk down it towards the river is one of the better ways to end a Chelsea evening.

Asked most often

Stacy, on the record

Are you shy?
A bit, for about twenty minutes. Then not at all, and most people say the second half is worth waiting for.
Does your height ever get in the way?
Only when a restaurant puts us at a tiny table. Give me somewhere with proper legroom and I will be perfectly happy.
Dinner or something lighter?
Something lighter, at an odd hour, on a pavement. A full three course production is not really how I like an evening to go.

What people wrote back

Nothing has been written up under Stacy yet, which is usually what discretion looks like. A note goes on the board only when a client sends one in writing, she agrees to it, and the office has checked that it reads as a first name, a month and nothing private.
