Escorts in Kentish Town, NW5: who is close, and how soon
At nine on a midsummer evening there is still light over Parliament Hill, and for anyone new to London that is the best reason to be in Kentish Town at that hour. The open top of the Heath, with the city spread out beneath it, is reached from here on foot, not from any of the famous districts.
The rest of NW5 is easy to misread on a first visit, because it is not a sight: it is an ordinary north London neighbourhood that happens to sit between two of the best things in the north of the city. Every companion on the board lives nearer the centre, so Kentish Town escorts make the trip north: count on about an hour once the office has said yes, longer in the evening rush, and find each length priced on the rates.

Note 02
How to read the high road
Kentish Town Road runs north from Camden Town and is the spine of the place: shops, cafes and pubs, a steady run of buses, and streets of Victorian terraces running off it on both sides. Out of sight beneath much of it runs the River Fleet, long since buried in a culvert, on its way from the ponds on the Heath to the Thames at Blackfriars. Take the district for what it is, somewhere Londoners live, eat and hear music, and it makes a good deal more sense than if you arrive looking for monuments.
Note 03
The one thing not to miss
Parliament Hill. Walk north-west from the station to where the terraces stop and the grass begins, and climb the slope to the top: the whole of London lies to the south, St Paul's and the towers of the City among it. The line of sight to St Paul's from here is one of London's protected views, which is why nothing has been allowed to block it. In winter the Heath has no lamps once the sun is down, so the view is a daylight or a summer-evening plan.
Note 04
A stop either way
South, Camden Town is one stop away, with the market along the canal and the music halls on its high street. North, the Northern line climbs towards Highgate, the old village on its ridge. Between the two, the Forum, a 1930s cinema turned concert hall, is where the district has its own big nights.
Note 05
Where a visitor stays
The hotel rooms in this page's list are further south, in Camden Town and on the Euston Road, towards the main line stations. A first visit here is as likely to be a friend's flat or a short let in one of the terraces, and escorts in Kentish Town come to either as readily as to a hotel: the street, the house number and which bell to ring are all the office needs.
