Lucy in Shoreditch: 163 cm, slender, and when she is free
Dark curls, brown eyes, and an east London evening that goes where it wants.
Note 01
About Lucy
Dark curls that refuse to be flattened, worn long and mostly left alone, over brown eyes, on a slender frame of 163 cm. Lucy dresses for east London and for herself: good boots, a jacket with pockets, something under it that is far better made than it first appears. Mid twenties. She is the least formal woman on this list and the one most likely to improve an evening you had already planned badly.
Her English is fast and full of asides. She is genuinely funny, the unscripted sort rather than the rehearsed sort, and she is curious about strangers in a way that makes them talk more than they meant to. She takes photographs on film, keeps up with three or four bands nobody has heard of yet, and can find the one good room on any street within about ten minutes of arriving on it.
Her E1 evening usually runs through Brat on Redchurch Street, the first floor dining room with the wood fire where the fish arrives whole and the noise level is exactly right. She books early and eats late. She lives south of the river side of town, over in Pimlico, so Shoreditch is a district she chose rather than inherited, which is why she knows it better than most people who live there.
Eight o'clock or later is how her evenings begin, and she is honest about the nights she cannot do. The Shoreditch page has E1 and everyone else working it. Name the night and the hotel when you message the desk, and you will be told exactly what she has.

Note 03
An evening with Lucy
She does not want a plan past dinner and she will tell you that in the first five minutes. What she wants is a starting point and a rough finish time, and she will fill the middle better than any itinerary would have.
Redchurch Street at half past eight smells of woodsmoke from the street. Upstairs she orders too much, insists you eat the bit you were going to leave, and talks straight through the meal without ever making it a monologue. Afterwards east London is at its best: a bar with no sign, a record shop that stays open absurdly late, or the walk back through streets that are still busy at midnight. If you would rather just go back to the hotel she is equally happy, and she will say so plainly.

What people wrote back
Nothing has been written up under Lucy yet, which is usually what discretion looks like. A note goes on the board only when a client sends one in writing, she agrees to it, and the office has checked that it reads as a first name, a month and nothing private.
