Escorts in Feltham, TW13 and TW14: the trip out from town, agreed in writing
"Feltham is two rivers and a heath before it is an airport town," is how Sylvie puts it at the office, and the map bears her out. A king's river cuts across the south of TW13 on its way to Hampton Court, the Crane runs down the eastern side, and open ground frames the town on both hands: Hounslow Heath towards Hounslow, the country park at Bedfont Lakes to the west. The whole board lives in town, so Feltham escorts always travel out, and this green ground is what an evening in TW13 or TW14 can be built around.

Note 02
The king's river
The Longford River is not a river in the natural sense at all. It was dug in the 1630s for Charles I, taking water off the Colne near Longford, beside what is now the airport, and carrying it across the flat Middlesex country to the fountains of Hampton Court and the ponds of Bushy Park. Its course still crosses Hanworth, on Feltham's southern side, nearly four centuries on.
It is easy to pass without noticing, a narrow and oddly straight channel, but it explains the shape of the place: a royal water supply laid across farmland long before the runways, the reservoirs or the railway arrived.
Note 03
The Crane and the heath
On the other side of town the River Crane comes down from Cranford past Hounslow Heath, what survives of the heath that once covered this corner of Middlesex, and now a local nature reserve of grassland and scrub. Downstream the river reaches Crane Park, where Hanworth gives way to Whitton and Twickenham: a strip of woodland along the water with an island nature reserve and a tall shot tower left from the gunpowder mills that once worked the banks.
The London Loop, the long walking route round the edge of the capital, follows this stretch of river through Crane Park and past the heath towards Hatton Cross. A guest with an afternoon free can walk a good part of it before an evening indoors.
Note 04
Green hours, and the trip out
The green side of Feltham belongs to daylight. On a summer evening there is time for an hour by the water before dinner; from late autumn the dark comes early, the heath and the riverbanks are no place to be after it, and a winter booking is an indoor evening from the start. For a guest staying on the airport side of town, near Heathrow Terminal 5, all of this is far nearer than any park in the West End.
Escorts in Feltham come out from the central and western zones. Feltham lies beyond central London, so before anything is booked the office sets out in writing, on WhatsApp, what the travel comes to and whether a minimum length applies; her journey out runs past the usual hour, and the full ladder of lengths is on the rates.
